At Dental Care of Texas, we are strong advocates of Preventive Dentistry with the goal of preventing the need for more extensive, time-consuming treatments later.

In addition to regular checkups with cleanings and X-rays, some preventive treatments we recommend include:

  • Dental Sealants
Dental sealants can protect back teeth from cavities and decay, while also making them easier to clean and maintain. Patients of all ages can receive dental sealants to help ensure their teeth remain healthy for years to come.
  • Fluoride Treatments
Supplemental fluoride applications strengthen tooth enamel and help to prevent tooth decay. They are painless and only take a few minutes. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that provides positive effects when applied directly to teeth.
  • Mouth Guards & Night Guards
For anyone who participates in contact sports or activities, a mouth guard is essential to protect their teeth from oral injury. We offer both mouth guard and night guards for people who suffer from nighttime clenching and grinding.

At Dental Care of Texas, we understand that it may be challenging to balance family, work and regular appointments. That’s one of the reasons we are open six days a week and offer flexible and convenient hours. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to see a dentist for your checkups – even when your life feels hectic. We are in-network with most dental providers. We look forward to caring for your dental needs. Call us today.

Preventive Care and Family Dentistry

At Dental Care of Texas, your entire family will enjoy a comfortable and pleasant dental experience. With our equal focus on preventive dentistry and family dentistry, we take time to listen to each patient and gather information so we can accurately diagnose problems and explain treatment options. Early detection is important in avoiding costly and painful treatment. When common oral health conditions like decay or periodontal disease are caught early, restoring your mouth to its former glory can be a more comfortable and less invasive process. If left alone, treatment for the same conditions will eventually require more extensive work.

Of course, providing early treatment is just one goal of our family and preventive dental office. We want to erase your need for treatment entirely. That’s where prevention comes in. Prevention begins with keeping plaque and calculus under control, which are the main cause of decay and periodontal disease.

To get the most out of Dental Care of Texas’s family and preventive care, we recommend coming to our practice twice a year for checkups and a professional cleaning. Regular visits like these let our doctor get to know you and your family’s smiles. The more we know, the more personalized our care can be.

Besides assessing the smiles of all our patients, we can also provide extra protection from decay for patients of all ages through dental sealants, and we also offer advanced diagnoses with digital radiography and photography. Our complete preventive and family dental services include:

  • Regular Checkups
  • Cleanings
  • Dental Sealants
  • Digital Radiography and Photography
  • Patient Education
  • Nightguards
  • Mouthguards
  • Snore guards

How long has it been since you or your child has had a dental checkup and a professional cleaning? If it’s been six months or more, call Dental Care of Texas to reserve an appointment. We have afternoon and Saturday hours that are convenient with your schedule. We look forward to hearing from you!

What our patients say

I have been going to Dental Care of Texas for a little over a year now, and I love it. They get you back and all fixed up in a jiffy. I am currently in ortho too and they are getting my teeth exactly where I want them to be. The prices are great and the staff are the best. I would and do recommend Dental Care of Texas to everyone I know.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dental Care of Texas. Definitely most affordable around the area, and also have payment plans that help single moms like myself. Staff is always nice and very helpful. I have another kid that's going to need braces soon and I will be returning to Dental Care of Texas, without a doubt.

Been with this dentist office for 18 years! This office has not much of a turnover, and that says a lot; mostly same staff for years. The front office staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to scheduling my appointments or working with my insurance, and I know I can trust the care I receive from their hygienists and dentists. All of that is really just a bonus to the awesome convenience of being able to go in on a Saturday!
