Periodontal Therapy

Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is the leading cause of adult tooth loss in the United States. Early warning signs include red, swollen gums that bleed when you brush your teeth. Because the symptoms may be painless, many people do not recognize at first that there’s a problem. During your thorough hygiene exam at Dental Care of Texas, we will assess your gums for signs of periodontal disease. We may recommend non-surgical therapy for early-stage gum disease or specialized care by our in-house periodontist for advanced cases. At Dental Care of Texas, periodontal services include:

  • Periodontal Charting and Diagnostic Services
  • In-Office Periodontal Therapy by a Periodontist
  • Non-Surgical Gum Treatment (scaling and root planing)

What our patients say

I have been going to Dental Care of Texas for a little over a year now, and I love it. They get you back and all fixed up in a jiffy. I am currently in ortho too and they are getting my teeth exactly where I want them to be. The prices are great and the staff are the best. I would and do recommend Dental Care of Texas to everyone I know.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dental Care of Texas. Definitely most affordable around the area, and also have payment plans that help single moms like myself. Staff is always nice and very helpful. I have another kid that's going to need braces soon and I will be returning to Dental Care of Texas, without a doubt.

Been with this dentist office for 18 years! This office has not much of a turnover, and that says a lot; mostly same staff for years. The front office staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to scheduling my appointments or working with my insurance, and I know I can trust the care I receive from their hygienists and dentists. All of that is really just a bonus to the awesome convenience of being able to go in on a Saturday!
